Job title: Team Leader - Facility Maintenance
About the Role As a Team Leader - Facility Maintenance at Continental, you will oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of plant facilities, utilities and building equipment. You will work on HVAC, HT-LT electrical installations, MHEs, exhaust & ventilation, ETP/STP and general building tasks, contribute to projects, and ensure safety and quality compliance.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and troubleshoot plant Facilities, Utilities & Building equipment (HVAC, DG, ETP, STP, Chillers, Cooling Towers, UPS, Transformers, Power Systems, Fire Protection, Lighting, Building & Infrastructure) and related accessories.
- Handle power systems, distribution cabinets, busbars, system controls, motors with speed reducers, and electrical wiring at various voltages.
- Contribute to projects, provide support & execution and ensure understanding of drawings.
- Maintain safety standards, statutory requirements, validation and audit readiness; ensure quality standards in daily activities; maintain audit documentation.
- Plan and manage spares: procurement, receipt, handling, consumption records; monitor inventory; cost optimization & localization.
- Track KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, OEE) to maximize equipment uptime; collect data and maintain maintenance logs.
- Lead installation/upgrade projects, continuous improvement (Kaizen), TPM, 5S; pursue energy optimization and smart factory initiatives.
- Manage vendors, AMC contracts and shift manpower planning.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, regulations and government approvals; liaison for regulatory requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering; 6-9 years of experience; ability to work in shifts.
- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC, electrical installations, MHEs, exhaust & ventilation, ETP/STP, building tasks; knowledge of power systems, power distribution, and controls.
- Understanding of drawings; ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Added advantage if Electrical Supervisor License Holder.
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to statutory requirements; calibration and documentation compliance.
- Good communication, planning, and teamwork.
