Job Summary

• The Team Lead, Strategy & Governance will be responsible for growing the Advisory business by identifying client needs, developing relevant products and services, and leading the execution of strategy, governance, and transformation projects.
• The role requires strong leadership, client engagement, and the ability to manage subject matter experts and consultants across multiple engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Product and Market Strategy for Strategy and Governance Advisory services including competitive analysis, market dynamics, product development, value proposition, product/service benchmarking, marketing strategies, revenue projections etc.

• Participate actively in the development of the organization Advisory Department’s Strategic Plan involving opportunity identification and development for existing clients, new market opportunities, market/global trends, etc.

• Team Lead, Strategy and Governance Advisory to focus on the management and delivery of client engagements, as well as sales and practice development.

• Lead the Strategy and Governance Advisory Team to ensure the team captures knowledge of the engagement for future use on subsequent projects to increase quality and value proposition to clients,

• Lead and coordinate the marketing activities for the Unit to ensure team efforts are channelled toward meeting set targets, negotiate and close deals on Strategy and Governance Advisory opportunities to drive business growth.

• Engage and work with other Heads of Units in the Advisory Department on joint marketing and project delivery to achieve overall success of the Department.

• Serve as technical SME and Project Team Manager to manage the Strategy and Governance Advisory team on projects effectively ensuring their engagement on and off projects,

• Provide leadership and technical coaching and guidance to the team to build their capabilities and acumen in engaging clients, delivering projects efficiently and effectively

• Identify marketing opportunities and prepare quality proposals, attend pitches or proposal defence presentations to expand opportunities for Unit and meet set targets.

• Build deep relationships with existing and potential clients – always striving to meet or exceed the expectations of the customer and ensuring deliverables are of Consulting Department’s high standards.

• Seek to inform and provide solutions to clients by being knowledgeable of Strategy and Governance Advisory services and standards and keep abreast of regulatory changes, trends, and occurrences with potential or direct impact on client’s sector or client’s business.

• Any other duties assigned by the Head of Department, or MD/CEO, for firm-wide or departmental matters.

• Key Requirements

• A good First-Degree certificate,

• Certification and Professional membership related to Corporate Governance, Strategy Management and Finance/Economics.

• MBA/MSc would be an added advantage,

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools

• 7 – 9 years’ work experience, with at least 5 years directly relevant to strategy, governance advisory, and team leadership.

• Proven experience leading strategy and governance engagements.

• Strong analytical, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to grow advisory business and manage client relationships.

Salary

N15.2 million – N16.6 million (Gross Annual Salary)
