The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead daily production activities within our Delft manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while developing an engaged and high-performing team.

This is a full-time onsite position based in Delft (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

As a Production Team Leader, you will:

Lead daily production activities within our Delft manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. You will be responsible for meeting SQDIP targets, developing and coaching production associates, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with quality and safety standards. Working closely with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain teams, you will use data, systems, and structured problem-solving methods to improve operational performance and support on-time delivery to customers.

Essential requirements of the job include:

• Experience leading teams in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment, with a proven ability to deliver operational targets.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Candidates with a Dutch MBO (Level 4) qualification and a minimum of 5 years of relevant people management experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations environment are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Experience working with ERP systems and using production data and KPIs to drive performance and decision-making.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Experience in a precision manufacturing, high-mix low-volume environment, with familiarity with ISO quality systems and proficiency in both Dutch and English.
