Job title: Team Lead OpenStack / SRE
About the Role
Team Lead with OpenStack expertise to steer a squad of ~10 SREs within OVHcloud's Public Cloud Infrastructure (PCI). Hybrid role balancing ~70% technical work and ~30% management, staying hands-on while guiding architecture, debt, and production readiness. Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Architects, and report to an IT Director; work in a fast-growing, globally distributed, product-driven environment with AI-enabled operations.
What You'll Do
- On the Team Lead side (~30%): ensure delivery quality, cost, timelines, security; manage, recruit, develop, and give feedback; drive performance; lead transformations; communicate strategic choices clearly; promote AI adoption in the team's practices (automation, analysis, developer assistance).
- On the Technical / SRE side (~70%): design and deliver new OpenStack features with AI-enhanced approaches; identify and prioritize reliability, automation, and debt reduction with the Product Owner; challenge designs, arbitrate architectural choices, ensure tech coherence including AI components (observability, autoscaling); take the lead on critical incidents, coordinate cross-squads, and use AI tools to speed up troubleshooting and post-mortems.
