Job title: Team Lead Materials Management
About the Role The Team Lead Materials Management at the Charles City Site ensures high performance in the supply of biological vaccines. This role leads day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of planning, scheduling, and direct materials readiness to protect customer supply and production efficiency. The Team Lead is a proactive, collaborative leader who identifies risks early (3–24 months) and aligns cross-functional partners to resolve issues before they impact production. Conducts all activities and decisions in accordance with Company policies and SOPs, Zoetis Core Beliefs, global regulatory guidelines, and environmental guidelines, as appropriate.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of planning, scheduling, and direct materials readiness to protect customer supply and production efficiency.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Process Teams, and the Supply Chain Network to identify and resolve issues before they impact production.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines in all activities.
- Respond to customer inquiries and order status needs in coordination with the Planning/Scheduling/Customer Interface Manager; communicate constraints, tradeoffs, and recovery plans clearly and professionally.
- Identify long-term obstacles to production and supply and develop options and recommendations with cross-functional teams.

- Strong proactive mindset to identify risks 3–24 months ahead and bring options and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align Operations, Quality, Process Teams, and Supply Chain Network.
- Knowledge of global regulatory guidelines and environmental guidelines; adherence to policies and SOPs.
