Job title: Team Lead- Global Controllership - Rebates
About the Role Team Lead for Global Controllership – Rebates responsible for leading the rebates accounting function within Medline's global controllership organization. You will oversee the end-to-end rebates processes, drive accuracy of accruals, reporting, and process improvements, and mentor a regional team.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Rebates team within Global Controllership, ensuring accurate rebates accruals, invoicing, and settlements.
- Oversee monthly close activities related to rebates, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures, automation, and ongoing process optimization.
- Prepare and present rebates reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA/CA preferred.
- 7+ years of finance/accounting experience, with rebates, revenue recognition, or controllership.
- Prior experience leading teams and cross-functional programs.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and process improvement mindset.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), data analytics, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
