Team Lead, Engineering, Mechanical Validation Lab

AGCO is seeking a Team Lead, Engineering, Mechanical Validation Lab. This role leads the mechanical validation laboratory, driving dynamic and results‑driven efforts to advance validation capabilities. The incumbent will lead technical teams, manage high‑complexity validation programs, and collaborate with design, CAE, and product development teams to accelerate product validation, improve reliability, and enhance customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes strong leadership, process improvements, and the introduction of new technologies to strengthen validation capabilities while ensuring quality, safety, calibration, and audit compliance. The position requires maintaining accurate test records, tracking project status, and ensuring transparent communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily test operations, guide team members, and ensure work is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical direction to support high-quality outcomes.
• Communicate with management and cross-functional teams, resolve operational or technical issues quickly, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and procedures.
• Support employee development through coaching, performance feedback, and skill-building opportunities while fostering a disciplined, collaborative, and productive work environment.
• Drive process improvements, maintain essential documentation, and ensure resources and equipment are effectively managed to meet project and organizational goals.
• Provide hydraulic systems validation and fatigue expertise to ensure program objectives are accomplished according to established schedules and budgets.
• Understand CAE requirements and support test‑CAE correlation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent degree; a Master’s in Engineering is preferred.
• 15+ years of engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with mechanical and mechatronics testing, including fatigue, NVH, ROPS/FOPS, hydraulic testing, compliance and homologation, rig testing with stress/strain data acquisition, accelerometers, and load transducers.
• Experience in material testing and composition and associated test methodologies.
