Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Complying with the principles and policies in the Information Security Handbook
- Collation of the departmental asset register and ensure the departmental assets are well kept and properly used/maintained.
- Management of Departmental Assets (Laptops etc)
- Handling of the quarterly publication of the names of delinquent customers in national new prints.
- Any other credit administration jobs as may be assigned by Head, Credit Risk Management or Head, Credit Administration
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages and Co-ordinate Management Credit Committee and Board Credit Committee meetings, track and follow up with related parties on issues and ensure completeness of Agenda
- Supervises the Circulation of Credit Papers to GHs & HoDs with papers for presentation
- Prepares and Reviews Credit Matters for MCC
- Prepares and Reviews Credit Matters for BCC
- Preparation and Uploading of MCC Papers on Teams
- Preparation and Uploading of BCC Papers on Board effect
- Taking minutes for all MCC and BCC meetings
- Reviews extract of Committees’ (BCC and MCC) decisions on all credit matters to ensure that decisions circulated are fair reflection of the Committee and ensure that the extract is circulated with five hours after each meeting.
- Reviews update of MCC & BCC decisions on Fintrak
- Liaise with the Value Chain Management Team on maximizing the value chain opportunities of the Bank
- Liaise with the Office of the Company Secretary on issues relating to BCC & BOD Meetings
- Handling complaints and enquiries from CAP, BUs and SBUs
- Liaise with CAP and the Business Team to ensure credit papers and update/reports dure for the consideration of the Board Credit Committee and Board of Directors are submitted and circulated in time.
- Handling of departmental Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Information Security audits and ensuring all exceptions are resolved.
- Working with the HOU, Credit Administration to ensure all exceptions raised by internal and external auditors on Credit Admin function are resolved in time.
- Management and Control of departmental budget as agreed with the Head, CRM
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
- First and Second degrees in any discipline and relevant professional qualifications. A degree in Linguistics or Law will be an added advantage.
Experience

Minimum experience: 5 years
