Your role

As a Team Lead Control Room, you are responsible for the heartbeat of our logistics operation in Bleiswijk. Together with your team, you oversee the performance of our automated systems and ensure that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

You translate operational data, system insights, and real-time developments into actionable decisions. Your focus is on optimizing performance, preventing disruptions, and creating maximum flow throughout the warehouse.

In addition to the operational aspect, your most important responsibility is leading and developing a team of specialists. You inspire your team to perform at their best while contributing to a safe, stable, and high-performing operation.

As Team Lead Control Room, you will:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Equipment Control Room Specialists, Operational Control Room Specialists, and Process Control Room Specialists
• Monitor and manage automated logistics processes to ensure optimal operational flow and system performance
• Advise Operations on the most effective deployment of people, equipment, and resources
• Act as the key communication link between Operations, technical partners, and the Control Room
• Ensure the safe and controlled operation of the Warehouse Control System (WCS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and automated material handling equipment
• Analyze operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive initiatives that enhance productivity and machine efficiency

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

Your base location will be Bleiswijk, home to one of CEVA Logistics’ most advanced automated warehouse operations. Here, logistics processes, automation, and technology work seamlessly together to process thousands of customer orders every day.

As Team Lead Control Room, you will manage a team of approximately 10 specialists and report directly to the Control Room Manager. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, IT, and external technical partners to ensure operational excellence.

You will work in a rotating shift pattern:

• Day shift: 06:15u - 14:45u
• Evening shift: 14:45u - 23:15u
• Night shift: 23:15u - 06:15u

Additionally:

• You alternate between day and evening shifts on a weekly basis
• You work an average of one Sunday every three weeks
• You work an average of one week of night shifts every ten weeks

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You are a people-focused leader who thrives in complex and fast-paced logistics environments. You enjoy solving operational challenges, improving processes, and supporting your team in achieving outstanding results.

You can quickly switch between operational priorities, team development, and stakeholder management. With your strong analytical mindset and decision-making skills, you remain calm under pressure and maintain a clear overview of performance, progress, and priorities.

In addition, you bring:

• An Associate Degree or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations Management
• At least 5 years of experience within a logistics, automated, manufacturing, or technical operational environment
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing teams of specialists or professionals
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, and full-time availability

• A gross monthly salary between € 2.946 and € 4.187 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education)
