Job title: Team Lead 1st shift
About the Role Team Lead on the 1st shift will direct and coach production staff, manage material staging and related transactions, and help ensure safe, efficient operations. This role combines hands-on leadership with administrative tasks such as reporting and document preparation.
What You'll Do
- Oversee and assist with material staging, transfer, relocation transactions
- Schedule pickups
- Train and coach employees
- Monitor performance and production goals
- Correct errors and escalate as needed
- Create BOLs and bills of orders
- Perform computer-related tasks and run reports
- Ensure processes and policies are being followed
- Identify and correct production issues
- Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of the work area
- Operate motorized forklift and drive motorized equipment as needed
- Work in various temperature conditions
What We're Looking For
- Education equivalent to four years of high school
- 2-3 years General Labor experience
- 2 years Lead experience preferred
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to operate motorized equipment and forklift
- Ability to bend, stoop, push and pull tools and boxes
- Able to work in various temperature conditions
- Proficiency with computers and running reports
