About the Role This Teaching Assistant role involves working with individual pupils and groups under the direction of a teacher to support learning. You will introduce tasks, monitor pupil work, and use a range of strategies to help pupils progress, including responsive support for pupils with SEN/SEND. The post is based at Piper's Vale Primary - A Paradigm Academy in Ipswich and forms part of a fixed-term apprenticeship.
What You'll Do
- Work with individual pupils and groups under supervision
- Introduce tasks, monitor pupils’ work, and use a range of strategies to support learning
- Draw on specialist skills and knowledge to respond to pupils with SEN/SEND
- Support enthusiastic and inclusive progress for pupils of all abilities
- Maintain safeguarding and a safe learning environment in line with Trust policies
