About the Role Kimball Jenkins seeks experienced and enthusiastic teaching artists to lead youth and adult art classes across a range of mediums. This role focuses on delivering engaging instruction in painting, drawing, jewelry-making, textiles, mixed media, woodworking, and beyond, helping students of all ages develop skills and confidence in their creativity.
What You'll Do
- Lead and teach youth and adult art classes across multiple mediums (painting, drawing, jewelry-making, textiles, mixed media, woodworking, and beyond)
- Develop and deliver dynamic instruction and workshop experiences; contribute fresh ideas for classes and programs
- Collaborate with program staff to plan curricula, assess learner progress, and maintain a positive classroom environment
- Mentor students, encourage creative exploration, and adapt to diverse ages and ability levels

- Background or proficiency in one or more art mediums (e.g., painting, drawing, jewelry-making, textiles, mixed media, woodworking)
- Strong communication, classroom management, and ability to engage youth and adult learners
