THE ROLE
Macquarie University College is seeking to appoint a qualified and highly experienced Diploma of Health Sciences Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to enhance and extend education excellence at Macquarie University College.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Contributing to ongoing curriculum development and improvement of delivery of the College units and courses,
- Delivering lessons and workshops,
- Coordinating the teaching teams,
- Preparing and revising learning and teaching resources,
- Producing high-quality assessment tasks,
- Administration, supervision and marking of assessments, and participation in assessment task moderation and quality assurance processes,
- Consultation with students and provision of academic advice & support if needed,
- Consistently monitoring student progress; identifying and following up with students at risk,
- Contributing to the effective operations of the Macquarie University Learning Management System (iLearn) as required,
- Engaging professionally with colleagues and students and contribute to a positive workplace culture,
- Complying with relevant EEO and WHS regulations.
Please note the expectation is that staff will be on campus most workdays.

Macquarie University College provides local and international students with alternative pathway programs to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees through our accelerated face-to-face learning model. The College delivers Foundation & Intensive programs, Diplomas, UniReady and Masters Qualifying programs, English language programs, and operates the Pearson Testing Centre on campus.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a passionate, highly skilled teacher with extensive teaching experience at higher education level in a Health-related discipline to join Macquarie University College. You will have knowledge of the latest developments in learning principles including online and blended learning pedagogies and proven experience in curriculum and assessment design. Your ability to work in a fast paced and vibrant environment and a "students first" mindset will ensure your success in this role.
