About the Role Deloitte Tax LLP’s Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3) practice helps organizations identify and pursue government credits and incentives tied to investment, innovation, sustainability, and community development. With more than 1,000 practitioners supporting clients across more than 150 countries and regions, Gi3 advises on complex tax credit and incentive matters across industries. In this role, you will work on engagements involving research and development, New Markets Tax Credit, Qualified Opportunity Zones, renewable energy incentives, and other incentives.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to engagements identifying and pursuing government credits and incentives tied to client investments and innovations.
- Advise on programs such as R&D tax credits, NMTC, QOZ, and renewable energy incentives across industries.
- Analyze tax incentive opportunities, perform data gathering, and assist in structuring client solutions.
- Collaborate with Gi3 practitioners to deliver cross-market advice to clients.
- Support client relationships and contribute to business development activities related to credits and incentives.
What We're Looking For
- Interest or experience in government credits and incentives, including R&D credits, NMTC, QOZ, and renewable energy programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate complex tax concepts into actionable client solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for client-facing engagements.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-based advisory environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in tax services or government incentive programs is a plus.
- Familiarity with cross-industry applications of credits and incentives.
