About the Role Join Baker Tilly as a Tax Senior Associate to deliver tax compliance and advisory services to middle-market to multinational clients. What You'll Do
- Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing tax compliance and advisory services to S-corporations, partnerships, individuals and corporations ranging from middle market to multinational companies.
- Participate in tax research projects, help draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries.
- Team with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow-through taxation, including accounting methods and ASC 740.
- Develop recommendations for the client to consider and share with leadership to discuss and strategize.
- Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on complex state and local, high net worth, international, and credits/incentives matters.
- Learn and grow via on-the-job coaching and firm-wide learning and development programs.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with clients.
- Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals.

What We're Looking For
- 4-year degree and licensure eligibility (CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent preferred).
- Two (2) years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.
- Microsoft Suite skills and generally strong software proficiency.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with a broad range of tax issues in state and local, international, R&D credits and incentives, and other specialty tax areas.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to network and build client relationships.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $71,650 - $94,050 USD annually.
