Tax Manager
Provide guidance to clients on individual tax services, demonstrating expertise in areas such as 1040, 1041, 990, or 5500. Determine tax service objectives, scope and methodology and actively participate in communications with client management to understand the client’s business and to identify possible tax solutions. Oversee the calculation and analysis of tax strategies for clients and assist with delivering to the client. Manage and review the preparation individuals tax returns, estimated payments and extensions. Monitor, document and apply the tax laws for US tax return preparation. Continue to develop relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities. Proficiency in CCS Access Software and Sure Prep tools. Ability to handle business entity tax compliance tasks effectively. Provide both leadership (mentoring and coaching) and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute towards implementing them.
