About the Role EY is seeking an experienced Tax Advisor Manager to join our Direct Tax Advisory team in Malta. The role focuses on advising multinational and domestic entities on Maltese direct taxation matters and international tax developments. What You'll Do
- Monitoring domestic and international tax developments and assisting in issuing newsletters in a timely manner;
- Advising clients with respect to Maltese tax implications and international tax developments;
- Advising clients with respect to specific tax advice they will be requiring from time to time;
- Assisting sellers and buyers with respect to tax due diligence and transaction support services;
- Liaising with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration on questions of interpretation of Malta tax law; and
- Assisting in the tax advice function as required. What We're Looking For
- In possession of a professional tax, accounting or legal qualification;
- At least 6 years of relevant tax experience, ideally within an audit and accountancy firm;
- Have professional fluency in English, both written and verbal;
