About the Role We are seeking an experienced tax advisor (minimum 3 years) to join EY's People Advisory Services Global Mobility team. The GM unit handles personal income tax, social security, immigration and compensation advisory for foreign and Hungarian private individuals, and provides extensive guidance on tax, social security, immigration and compensation matters for employees. The team also supports design of long-term incentive and compensation structures and ensures full compliance with local and international tax and social security laws. The role involves active collaboration with private individuals, their Hungarian and international employers, EY's international offices and authorities, with ongoing monitoring and application of international tax and social security regulations. We are building a dynamic, nearly 100-strong team of professionals providing tax, immigration, payroll and HR advisory services, and we are looking for a colleague with at least 3 years of relevant experience. What You'll Do
- Interpret and coordinate regulations related to foreigners' stay and employment in Hungary and Hungarians abroad, in consultation with foreign partner offices and authorities.
- Tax and social security planning for international assignments.
- Deliver compliance services for multinational clients and coordinate services performed by our foreign partner offices.
- Provide broad advisory on tax and social security matters affecting employees for international clients.
- Participate in the design of employee and executive compensation programs.
- Request formal opinions and represent clients during tax authority audits.
- Actively participate in client work, maintaining direct contact with foreign colleagues and clients.
- Contribute to the development of service offerings and workflows. What We're Looking For
- Minimum three years of experience in a similar field.
- Confident knowledge and application of Hungarian and international personal income tax and social security rules.
- Active English language skills at least at a intermediate level; German language skills are a plus.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proactive attitude with strong organizational skills.
- Effective and articulate verbal and written communication.
- Attention to detail and high standards of quality.
- Strong client-oriented mindset.
- Efficient, independent and fast working style.
