About the Role Tasker at DHL Supply Chain supports operations by expediting transactions through the warehouse management system and assisting with the handling of shipping processes. The role may support outbound, inbound or parcel functions and operates in a 1st shift warehouse in Aurora, CO.
What You'll Do
- Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders using the warehouse management system.
- Monitor workload through system screens and move tasks through the system; collaborate with operations to address overages, shortages, and damages.
- Manage inbound carrier schedules and outbound shipping schedules; communicate with carriers to ensure seamless transactions.
- Generate and utilize system reports and audit sheets to evaluate shift progress; resolve data transmission issues with customer IT and procurement teams.
- Oversee the exchange of parcel shipments from the shipping dock to the carrier’s truck; ensure complete turn‑of‑shift communication.
- Assist with driver check-in/out, validate orders for shipment, and prepare essential shipping documentation; support handling and shipment of hazardous waste/materials.
- Maintain safety compliance (must be 21+, PPE such as safety shoes, bump cap, safety glasses, long sleeves).
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Six months warehouse experience preferred.
- 1 year of experience with WMS or inventory systems; 1 year of dispatching experience; 1 year handling warehouse shipping documentation.
- Basic understanding and application of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work 1st shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment and wear required PPE; previous hazardous materials experience is a plus.
