Tasker

About the Role The Tasker role at DHL Supply Chain focuses on expediting transactions through the warehouse management system. You will provide information and resolve issues with customers, carriers, and warehouse associates, and may support outbound, inbound or parcel functions. This is a hands-on role that requires moving around the warehouse floor. What You'll Do

• Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.
• Understand and utilize system screens to monitor and move workload through the system.
• Work closely with operations to identify and eliminate overages, shorts and damages causing inventory issues.
• Manage the scheduling of inbound carriers and the outbound shipping schedule by updating appropriate communication methods.
• Work the second shift: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday-Friday. What We're Looking For
• Experience in supply chain roles including wave planning, scheduling, auditing, product compliance, shipping, receiving, logistics, coordination, lead, transportation clerk, or dispatch.
• At least 1 year of experience in prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks; freight/truck scheduling for inbound/outbound shipments and maintaining accurate Bills of Lading.
• Experience coordinating tasks across departments (shipping, receiving, inbound/outbound freight).
• Experience using a commercial warehouse management system (WMS) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• This is a hands-on role with time spent on the warehouse floor and standing/walking. Compensation & Benefits
