Tasker

About the Role The Tasker will support DHL Supply Chain operations by expediting transactions in the warehouse management system and assisting with order waves, shipping, receiving and parcel functions. This hands-on role is focused on prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks across the warehouse to keep workload moving efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Prioritize, schedule and plan tasks for the assigned department.
• Expedite transactions through the warehouse management system (WMS) to move workload efficiently.
• Provide information and resolve issues with customers, carriers, and warehouse colleagues.
• Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.
• Monitor and move workload through system screens; coordinate with operations to reduce overages, shorts and damages.
• Manage the scheduling of inbound and outbound freight, including freight and parcel functions.
• Coordinate tasks across shipping, receiving, inbound and outbound freight.
• Utilize a commercial WMS (e.g., Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP) and Microsoft Office (Excel) as part of daily duties.

What We're Looking For

• The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in the following areas: Supply Chain, Wave Planner, Scheduler, Auditing, Product Compliance, Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, Coordinator, Lead, Transportation Clerk, Dispatch.
• A minimum of one year’s experience in: prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks for an assigned department; freight and truck scheduling and planning for inbound and/or outbound shipments and maintaining accurate BOLs (Bills of Lading); coordinating tasks across departments (shipping, receiving, inbound and outbound freight).
• Experience using a commercial WMS (Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• This is a hands-on role spent on the warehouse floor, requiring extended standing and walking across multiple areas of the building.

Nice to Have

• Additional skills or experience related to the listed responsibilities and tools (e.g., WMS proficiency, logistics coordination, and cross-functional collaboration) as noted in the candidate expectations.
