Tasker

About the Role DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Tasker to support warehouse operations by expediting transactions in the warehouse management system and coordinating tasks across shipping, receiving, and inbound/outbound freight. The role is a 1st shift position based in Saint Joseph, MO, and pays $20.00 per hour. The Tasker will primarily work on the warehouse floor, supporting outbound, inbound or parcel functions as needed.

What You'll Do

• Prioritize, schedule, and plan tasks for the assigned department.
• Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders in the WMS.
• Monitor workload and move tasks through the system; work with operations to identify and eliminate overages, shorts, and damages.
• Manage scheduling of inbound and outbound freight and ensure accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs).
• Coordinate tasks across departments including shipping, receiving, inbound and outbound freight.
• Be on the warehouse floor, moving between areas with extended standing and walking.
• Use a commercial WMS (e.g., Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP) and Microsoft Office (Excel).

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of experience prioritizing, scheduling and planning tasks for an assigned department.
• Experience freight and truck scheduling and planning for inbound and/or outbound shipments with accurate BOLs.
• Experience coordinating tasks across shipping, receiving, inbound and outbound freight.
• Experience using a commercial WMS (Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• This is a hands-on role requiring extended time on the warehouse floor and mobility across multiple areas.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Supply Chain concepts and related roles such as Wave Planner, Scheduler, Auditing, Product Compliance, Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, Coordinator, Lead, Transportation Clerk, or Dispatch.
