About the Role Tanger is seeking a Tanger Ambassador in Nashville to engage shoppers, promote TangerClub benefits, and represent the Tanger brand across events and center activities. This role offers both independent and collaborative work within a flexible, Teams-driven environment designed to empower connection, innovation, and impact across geographies.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance aligned with the Tanger brand.
- Attend virtual or in-person sessions, webinars, or meetings to enhance knowledge and skills as a brand ambassador.
- Engage and proactively assist all guests across the center, driving consumer awareness, providing a consistent brand voice, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of all center store locations, amenities, local and national programs, promotional offers, and event details to answer questions and provide superior customer service.
- Prepare and hand out samples, coupons, and product information; distribute marketing and promotional materials to shoppers.
- Collect and record customer feedback for internal use and client relations.
- Use mobile technology to educate shoppers on TangerClub benefits and savings via the Tanger Mobile App; assist new customers with sign-ups.
- Represent Tanger by participating in on-site and off-site marketing events, conferences, trade shows, and other events.
- Assist in setup, organization, and breakdown for events; capture and recap events via photos, video, or audio.
- Foster partnerships with retailers by responding to retailer requests.
- Assist center management as needed; drive operational excellence by reporting issues promptly.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support, including mail handling and office upkeep.
- Assist with maintenance of emergency notifications, HVAC/roof logs, center collateral, signage, website, vendor check-ins, and social media channels as needed.
- Assist in training new Tanger Ambassadors as needed; participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work outdoors promoting marketing initiatives and to adapt to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of customer service experience.
Nice to Have
- 1 year of administrative experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
