About the Role Canonical is seeking a Talent Scientist to join the Talent Science team. You will lead on teaching our senior executives how to source senior talent, applying objective, scientifically rigorous hiring processes to connect performance outcomes with talent decisions across a global remote-first organisation.
What You'll Do
- Develop a search strategy to identify and engage senior leadership talent, ensuring smooth progression of headhunted candidates through the pipeline.
- Coach our senior leadership teams to drive hiring outcomes and become experts at approaching and attracting exceptional talent for management and leadership roles.
- Drive talent analytics to provide the business with actionable insights that inform talent strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Experience identifying and approaching senior leadership talent from either a professional search firm or an in-house search function, within the Technology industry.
- Excellent knowledge tools used to identify future talent including market mapping.
- Strong analytical problem-solving ability to identify trends and patterns from data, with SQL or Python.
