About this role
A Talent Acquisition Specialist is needed for a role based in Lagos with fully remote working arrangements. This position is contract-based for six months, with renewal possible based on performance, in the fintech sector. The successful candidate will work to attract, assess, and place qualified candidates, contributing to the organization’s talent pipeline and recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and assess candidates to determine fit for roles within the fintech space
- Coordinate and manage the interview process with hiring managers and candidates
- Engage with hiring teams to understand role requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies
- Maintain and optimize applicant tracking and recruitment processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience
- Communicate with candidates regarding status and next steps, ensuring timely updates
- Contribute to building a strong employer brand and talent pipeline for current and future needs
- Gather feedback from interviews and provide insights to improve recruitment approaches
- Ensure compliance with applicable hiring policies and timelines throughout the recruitment cycle
Requirements

Proven experience in recruitment, sourcing, and talent acquisition

Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Familiarity with the fintech industry is a plus

Ability to manage multiple candidate searches and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
