About the Role MTSI is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer to support defense-grade cybersecurity initiatives in Dayton, OH. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and validating security solutions to protect information systems and networks.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement secure architectures for systems and networks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security controls.
- Support program security documentation and compliance activities.
- Mentor junior staff and drive security best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of cybersecurity or systems engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO) and continuous monitoring.
- Experience with incident response, risk assessment, and secure development lifecycles.
- Ability to work onsite in Dayton, Ohio.
