About the Role Anduril is seeking Systems Security Engineers to lead mission-focused, threat-informed Anti-Tamper engineering for our next-generation autonomous systems across air, land, maritime, and space domains. You will own the execution of all security aspects of product development, production, and sustainment through the entire lifecycle to ensure resiliency in both export and U.S. contracts. What You'll Do
- Identify Critical Program Information (CPI) for cutting-edge systems across domains.
- Design and implement Anti-Tamper mitigations to deter, detect, delay, and react to reverse engineering attempts.
- Develop Anti-Tamper Plans with government personnel to mitigate security risks and maintain performance.
- Integrate holistic Systems Security Engineering processes across product lifecycles.
- Champion security architecture development and derive requirements for Anduril products with varying design maturity.
- Design features with engineering teams to meet and exceed industry-standard security goals.
- Consult and influence software, RF and electrical architectures and implementations.
- Identify and prioritize mission-based security risks and translate threat landscapes into engineering decisions.
- Develop, document, orchestrate, and execute system security tests, demonstrations, evaluations, and assessments (including support for customer-led events).
- Produce and maintain technical documentation on trade studies, designs, analyses, and results related to a system's security posture.
- Support major milestone deliveries (e.g., SRR, SVR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR). What We're Looking For
- Experience in Anti-Tamper Engineering, Systems Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Track record across embedded Program Protection, Software Security, and Anti-Tamper Engineering.
- Experience executing Anti-Tamper processes and authoring related documentation.
- Experience with Systems Security Engineering, reverse engineering, or embedded security on DoD programs.
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management to support embedded weapon system protections.
- Ability to brief effectively with technically oriented government customers.
- Active U.S. Secret clearance with SAP and Top Secret eligibility (or ability to obtain).
- Passion for continuous learning and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have
- Expertise with Anti-Tamper methodologies for protecting CPI.
- Experience with embedded systems security (FPGA security, micro-electronics security, hardware-based security).
- Experience implementing security architectures for autonomous/unmanned platforms, secure communications, or intelligence collection.
- Experience with Group 3+ Unmanned Aircraft Systems or military aviation platforms with integrated weapons.
- Experience developing cryptographic solutions, including key management systems.
- Experience with system design documentation in No Magic CAMEO.
- Experience with security testing on DoD systems.
- Experience with embedded Linux and other OS.
- Leadership, mentoring, coaching, and teaching.
- Active Top Secret clearance. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $146,000 - $253,000 USD annually.
