About the Role OHB Digital Connect GmbH seeks a Systems Engineering Manager for Missions Operations at the Multi Mission Control Centre in Bremen. You will lead and build an operations team for satellite missions, plan and run operation campaigns, and ensure efficient mission operations across multiple satellites and missions. What You'll Do
- Technical leadership and build an operations team for the preparation and execution of a satellite mission
- Plan and support operation campaigns (test, training, LEOP and IOT)
- Ensure operational execution and processes; knowledge management for operations team development
- Define and analyze ground segment requirements; adapt to new missions
- Develop satellite and mission operation concepts for multi-mission scenarios
- Contribute to proposals for mission operations
- Create, verify, and validate operations products for mission operations
- Support flight operations in critical and routine phases
- Manage multiple missions in satellite operations concurrently What We're Looking For
- Degree in engineering, physics or a related field
- Professional experience (>5 years) in the space sector, with mission or satellite operations
- Experience defining, developing and validating satellite ground segments; familiarity with satellite constellations is a plus
- Experience with flight dynamics and satellite control tools (SCOS, EGS-CC, CCS5, etc.)
- Script programming (Tope, Python), Matlab, or similar
- Excellent communication skills in German and English; ability to define operating objectives and work with a team
- Proactive, flexible, and goal-oriented; able to handle critical situations and support multiple missions
- Interest in expanding expertise beyond the satellite domain Nice to Have
