About the Role We are seeking a Systems Engineer SME to join Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. in Washington, DC. This role provides subject-matter expertise across system engineering activities to support technical design, integration, and lifecycle management for ongoing programs. What You'll Do
- Provide subject-matter expertise in system engineering across the life cycle, including design, integration, and verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into implementable architectures and solutions.
- Support technical reviews, documentation, and risk-issue management.
- Assist with deployment, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in fielded systems. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline; several years of systems engineering experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with system integration, requirements traceability, and lifecycle management.
- Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC and collaborate with customers and teammates.
