Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities
-
Performs detailed engineering for system sustainment and modifications, including technical baseline updates, ICD/ICS/interface analysis, customer onboarding, requirements traceability, data-flow and dependency analysis, and configuration-data maintenance. Supports Bifrost and CDS-related change packages, engineering documentation, test execution, and implementation activities under Senior Systems Engineer direction.

Support complex projects to include design and management over the project life cycle.

Applies sound principles and methods to difficult problems in technical areas to arrive at automated solutions.

Apply work-processes and tools to manage risks on technical projects in the areas of engineering, organizations studies, and project management.

Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results.

Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings.

Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-disciplineengineering teams to develop lower-level detailed requirements.

Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensureapplicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.

Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.

Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractualrequirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

5-7 years of related work experience

Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $95,000.00/Yr. - USD $140,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
