About the Role Stratolaunch is seeking a Systems Engineer at Level I, II, Sr., or Staff level to support Integration and Test (I&T) of Aircraft and Hypersonic vehicles. The role requires aerospace systems integration and test experience within a multi-disciplinary team and close collaboration with program management. What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the systems engineering, test team responsible engineers, and program leadership to define and implement vehicle integration and test activities
  • Develop and execute hardware-in-the-loop and on-vehicle test procedures
  • Maintain an up-to-date test objective database with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure testing meets vehicle requirements
  • Participate in test planning, TRRs, test execution, troubleshooting, and post-test data reviews
  • Architect and optimize data review methodology and tools
  • Understand subsystem connections and dependencies
  • Set standards for test planning and documentation and ensure those standards are met
  • Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, and integrity in commitments What We're Looking For
  • Experience in small, dynamic engineering teams with multi-role responsibilities
  • Previous test experience (vehicle integration testing, ground testing, and/or flight testing)
  • Familiarity with aerospace systems (avionics, instrumentation, software, fluid systems, liquid rockets, structures)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a security clearance
  • Proficiency with MS Office; CAD (SolidWorks); Jira; Jama/Cameo/DOORS (requirement management) Nice to Have
  • Experience as a Test Conductor
  • Experience contributing to major technical reviews (SRS, PDR, CDR)
  • Experience maintaining aerospace standards for vehicle configuration
  • Experience with air-launched hypersonic vehicle development
  • Experience with risk management and requirements management for hypersonic vehicles with hot-structure airframes
  • Matlab and/or Python programming Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $83,000 – $206,000 per year (level-dependent)
  • 9/80 schedule; healthcare (medical, dental, vision, prescriptions)
