Job Title: Systems Engineer – Endpoint Management / SCCM

Pay: $58/hour W2

Location: Hybrid – McLean, VA; Dallas, TX; or Memphis, TN

Schedule: Onsite 3 days per week

Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise endpoint environment consisting of more than 130,000 servers and workstations. This role will focus heavily on Microsoft Configuration Endpoint Manager (MCEM/SCCM), Intune, Windows deployments, PowerShell, and enterprise endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage a large-scale MCEM/SCCM infrastructure

• Create and maintain Task Sequences for OS and software deployments

• Perform SCCM client installations and troubleshooting

• Support enterprise-wide Windows 11 25H2 upgrades

• Manage Microsoft Office installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting

• Develop and maintain Microsoft Intune scripting solutions

• Support vulnerability remediation and endpoint security/compliance initiatives

• Assist with end-of-life hardware and software transitions

• Partner with Microsoft and third-party vendors to maintain infrastructure health

• Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of systems engineering or related experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Endpoint Manager

• Experience creating and managing Task Sequences

• Strong SCCM client troubleshooting experience

• Experience with Microsoft Intune

• Strong PowerShell scripting skills

• Experience supporting large-scale Windows endpoint environments

• Experience with OS deployments/upgrades and vulnerability remediation

• Experience installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications
