About this role

What you will be doing

The Systems Coordinator is a key member of the Distribution Center leadership team, responsible for owning all DC systems (SAP/WMS, KiSoft, etc), leading cross-functional problem solving and system-driven projects, and delivering actionable reporting. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:

  • Serve as the primary, local point of contact for SAP (WMS) and all DC systems, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Act as the site subject matter expert for SAP, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of system and interface issues (e.g., IDOCs, system failures, integration errors).
  • Monitor and manage system integrations between SAP, KNAPP, and other external platforms; coordinate with internal IT, SAP teams, and external vendors to resolve issues quickly.
  • Translate business needs into system solutions; identify opportunities to improve processes through better system utilization and configuration.
  • Lead and support system-related enhancements and changes, including requirements gathering, ticket submission, change requests, testing (UAT), and implementation.
  • Own and maintain key system configurations and tables (e.g., routing guides, VAS mappings); ensure accuracy and alignment with operational needs.
  • Partner with Operations, Inventory, and Transportation teams to investigate and resolve operational issues, including inventory discrepancies and inbound/outbound errors.
  • Own DC-level reporting and analytics; develop, maintain, and improve reports that provide actionable insights on performance, trends, and risks.
  • Serve as a project lead for DC-level initiatives, particularly those involving systems, data, or cross-functional coordination.
  • Collaborate with regional and global IT, transportation, and logistics teams to align on standards, share best practices, and support network-wide initiatives.
  • Support future system transitions (e.g., EWM) by building subject matter expertise, preparing the DC, and contributing to implementation efforts.
  • Assist, collaborate, and support other Amer DCs in EWM implementation.
  • Champions rigorous process discipline and standardized documentation, ensuring all operational changes are seamlessly integrated through proactive, multi-channel communication to all cross-functional stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of DC operations.

What you need to succeed

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Other qualifications include:

  • 2+ years of experience working with SAP WMS in a distribution environment required; EWM exposure a plus, basic understanding of system transactions and data flow.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, inventory) and how systems support execution.
  • Strong analytical foundation with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, non-technical presentations for cross-functional stakeholders, bridging the gap between raw data and operational execution
  • Analytical with a proven ability to architect data-driven narratives and perform deep-dive root cause analysis to identify systemic challenges and implement long-term resolutions
  • Results-oriented self-starter with a high-ownership mindset, proven to independently navigate ambiguity and drive projects from conception to high-impact completion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with operations, IT, and external partners.
  • Meticulous with an unwavering commitment to data integrity and process discipline, proven to maintain high-quality standards in complex, high-volume environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a preferred emphasis on complex Excel modeling (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros) and a preferred proven ability to leverage BI reporting tools or dashboards to visualize key performance metrics
  • An influential communicator and empathetic leader capable of distilling complex technical data into relatable, actionable narratives that resonate with diverse warehouse teams and drive operational alignment.
  • A self-starter who demonstrates uncompromising ownership over DC system operations, proactively identifying process gaps and continuously evolving their technical and leadership expertise to scale with the growing needs of the business.

Location and Site Details:

This is a full-time, on-site, exempt position requiring a flexible, operations-based schedule. Hours of work are driven by leadership expectations and departmental needs, rather than a fixed standard shift. We are hiring for two positions, one for AM Shift and one for PM shift.

A reasonable estimate of the annual pay range is $65,000 - $75,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range reflects the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
