About the Role L3Harris is seeking a Systems Administrator (Engineering) to support our engineering systems in Mirabel, QC, Canada. The role focuses on maintaining system availability, reliability, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enable mission-critical engineering work. What You'll Do
- Monitor and maintain the system infrastructure, including servers, storage, and security controls
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system improvements and ensure performance
- Triage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and apply patches and mitigations
- Document configurations, runbooks, and processes; ensure compliance with security and reliability standards What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience as a systems administrator on Windows and Linux environments
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking fundamentals, and cloud basics
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with security best practices, backups, and disaster recovery concepts Nice to Have
- Experience in defense, space, or aerospace domains
- Industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, Microsoft/VMware, etc.)
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash) and automation experience
