About the Role System Security Engineer – Senior, based at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. You will contribute to the design, integration, and operations of secure systems in support of national security programs. What You'll Do
- Develop and assess security requirements for DoD programs and systems.
- Implement risk management framework (RMF) and security controls, and participate in certification and accreditation activities.
- Collaborate with engineering and program teams to ensure secure system design and operation.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities; support remediation activities.
- Prepare and maintain security documentation and guidance for project teams. What We're Looking For
- Experience in system security engineering, DoD programs, and RMF security controls.
- Ability to work on-site at Wright-Patterson AFB and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate security requirements into technical solutions.
