System Integration Engineer

About the Role The System Integration Engineer works on integrating prototype ADAS into production vehicles, driving the design, integration, and validation of sensor systems, measurement equipment, electrical architectures, and wiring. This role leads vehicle system bring-up, troubleshooting, and end-to-end validation with a hands-on, documentation-driven approach. What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain prototype system and vehicle integration requirements from cross-functional teams; propose technical solutions.
• Review and modify electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for sensors, ECUs, measurement systems, and networks; ensure compatibility.
• Support design and integration of vehicle communications (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet); ensure signal availability.
• Define and implement vehicle measurement/instrumentation solutions, including data logging systems, Vector/ETAS toolchains, and Linux/PC-based platforms (ROS environments).
• Collaborate on power distribution concepts, schematics, wire sizing, fuse protection, load management, and programmable power control elements; apply electrical fundamentals to achieve robust integration.
• Review BoMs for vehicle integration projects; support part availability and lead-time resolution with suppliers.
• Provide technical documentation and work instructions for teardown, wiring modifications, sensor installation, and cable routing; collaborate with lab technicians.
• Drive sensor system integration, ground-truth equipment, and measurement hardware within the vehicle; perform sensor bring-up and debugging, ECU communication checks, DTC analysis, signal verification, and measurement validation using CANalyzer/ CANoe/ CANape, MATLAB, ROS, and ADTF.
• Lead system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis across electrical, networks, instrumentation, and hardware during build, bring-up, validation, and operation.
• Create and maintain integration documentation (schematics, BoMs, work instructions); track configurations and hardware usage; continuously improve processes.
• Participate in end-to-end system integration testing and validation for ADAS technologies (front cameras, surround-view cameras, ultrasonic sensors, radar); ensure release readiness for internal/external customers.
• Support vehicle system validation strategy and execution (requirements engineering, test scope, test case development, configuration management, test data analysis, and documentation of results) in line with development/process guidelines. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• 3-5 years of experience in vehicle electrical systems, system integration, ADAS development, or related automotive engineering.
• Strong technical communication with ability to convey issues, risks, timelines; effective cross-team collaboration.
• Hands-on experience in vehicle/system-level integration; wiring, schematics, instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals and automotive bus wiring (voltage, current, power distribution, CAN termination, Ethernet cabling).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex vehicle integration issues across electrical, communication, and hardware systems.
• Comfortable in hands-on vehicle/lab environments in fast-paced, evolving development with changing configurations.
• Strong attention to detail with a structured, documentation-driven approach. Nice to Have
• Experience with ADAS development vehicles or prototype builds; sensor systems (camera, radar, ultrasonic, LiDAR).
• Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and measurement/calibration toolchains (Vector, ETAS).
• Experience developing/managing BoMs and supporting hardware procurement.
• Understanding of vehicle power systems, high-voltage concepts, DC-DC integration, and internal combustion charging systems. Compensation & Benefits
