About the Role System Engineer SAP Basis responsible for operating SAP systems (on-premise and cloud), supporting users, and driving improvements across SAP BTP cloud solutions. You will work in a hybrid setup in Nürnberg and participate in customer projects, installations, and upgrades. What You'll Do
- Manage and monitor SAP systems (on-premise and cloud) and be the go-to contact for users with technical questions.
- Manage and monitor SAP BTP cloud solutions and serve as the point of contact for users.
- Independently perform 2nd-level SAP Basis support.
- Support customer projects, including system installations and upgrades.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize SAP systems; document tasks and questions. What We're Looking For
- Completed apprenticeship as Fachinformatiker(in) or a degree in Informatics with initial professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating SAP systems (AS ABAP, AS Java) and databases (Oracle, Hana, MaxDB) as well as Windows and Linux.
- Ideally advanced knowledge of SAP Cloud systems (e.g., BTP, IAS/IPS, CALM) and SAP Cloud Connector.
- Good command of English, strong communication skills, and team-oriented mindset. Nice to Have
