About the Role Join Rheinmetall Waffe Munition as a Systems Engineer focused on MBSE for complex (defense) systems. You will shape MBSE methods, processes and SysML tooling in close collaboration with domain experts, mentor project teams, and develop system architectures in line with product owners and technical specialists. You will report to the Head of Systems Engineering in R&D and help establish standards and variants across programs. What You'll Do
- Design and implement model-based systems engineering approaches for complex (weapon) systems in collaboration with domain experts.
- Define MBSE methods, processes and SysML tooling and apply them to projects.
- Act as mentor and reviewer for MBSE work within projects.
- Develop system architectures and establish standards and variants in alignment with product owners and technical experts.
- Report to the Head of Systems Engineering (m/w/d) in the Research & Development area of Rheinmetall Waffe Munition. What We're Looking For
- Completed studies in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Informatics, Physics or comparable qualification.
- Strong modeling experience with SysML.
- Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo / Dassault Systemes Modeller / Magic Draw, Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, etc.
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented work style with high quality consciousness.
- Willingness to travel (cross-location collaboration and exchange within Rheinmetall AG).
- Experience in the Defence industry is advantageous. Nice to Have
