System AIT Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Role System AIT Engineer will take overall AIT technical responsibility for a project across disciplines and act as a go-to person for AIT management. Based in Bremen, you will closely collaborate with the AIT manager and project team to ensure process compliance and successful integration. What You'll Do

• Provide overall AIT technical responsibility and coordinate across disciplines with the AIT manager.
• Technical coordination of an assigned AIT project team and ensure implementation of OHB's AIT processes.
• Define AIT flow, ground support equipment (GSE) and facility concept in early project phases.
• Standardize and update AIT documentation (AIT Plan, Facility Plan, GSE Deployment Plan/Specs, AIT Risk Register, Procedures).
• Ensure GSE suitability and integration and test definition across disciplines.
• Maintain technical coherence of documents, GSE, and integration/test setups.
• Define interfaces to engineering, verification and PAS.
• Support preparation and participation at test reviews (IRR/TRR, PTR) in coordination with AIT Manager.
• Organize results data review and approvals; maintain AIT data storage.
• Define and manage AIT tools usage for the project.
• Support AIT manager with planning; provide training and mentoring for staff.
• Perform other reasonable duties as required by knowledge and skills. What We're Looking For
• Completed engineering studies in a relevant area or equivalent qualification.
• Long-time experience in space and technical competence in several areas; security in handling space processes; structured working method.
• Good communication skills, high problem solving orientation, high flexibility and resilience.
• Technical leadership of several employees.
• Strategic action: planning with foresight, cost and schedule awareness, timely detection and avoidance of technical risks.
• Willingness to travel and to work shifts (on-call, weekends, campaigns).
• Ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams and adapt to changing priorities. Nice to Have
