Job title: Synthetic Turf Field Installer
About the Role The Synthetic Turf Field Installer performs hands-on field installation of synthetic turf fields under the direction of a Site Superintendent/Foreman. This role requires physical labor, precise cutting, and attention to detail, with regular overnight travel to job sites.
What You'll Do
- Assist in field setup upon arrival at the job site
- Accurately handle and position aluminum stencils for inlaid field markings
- Operate straight edges and tools used in turf alignment and installation
- Cut turf materials precisely using scissors and razor knives
- Install field markings and logos by embedding them into hot glue
- Inspect turf seams to ensure high-quality bonding and alignment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site throughout the project
- Support the final job site walk-through to ensure installation quality
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or project manager
- Overnight travel 75% of the year
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or field installation is preferred but not required
- Age: Must be at least 21 years old
- Certifications: Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- Background check: Clean criminal background required
- Drug screening: Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- Work ethic and travel: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to travel frequently
