About the Role As a Swimming Instructor at Hilliard YMCA, you will deliver safe, engaging swim instruction aligned with the YMCA mission. You will lead classes, promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, and ensure safety and progress for participants. What You'll Do
- Lead energizing, fun, safe, and instructional swim classes as directed by your supervisor to support the YMCA mission.
- Teach according to the progression in the swim lesson skill level sheets.
- Ensure participant safety and maintain records as required. What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Able to swim.
- Obtain CPR/First Aid/AED/Emergency Oxygen and YSL certification.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Ability to relate to diverse groups. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $14-$15 per hour
