SwaaP Controls Engineer
DUTIES
- Nexteer Automotive Corporation seeks a SwaaP Controls Engineer based out of our office at 1272 Doris Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. This is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. This position does not require travel.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automotive Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with, gained through either employment or schooling: Signal Analysis, such as Frequency Analysis & Fourier Transforms, in Control Systems.
- Stability Analysis in Control Systems.
- Vehicle Chassis Design & Dynamics (CarSim).
- Automotive Powertrain Design.
- Computer Vision.
- Hybrid Electric Powertrain Theory.
- MATLAB & Simulink Software.
- Path Planning Algorithms.
- Automotive System Integration of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, and Software components.
- Algorithm Deployment to Embedded Systems.
- Simulation Programs to Test Algorithms, Model Sensors, and Create Physics-Based Interactions.
