THE ROLE
AMD seeks high-caliber graduate software engineers to work on the design and implementation of system software for AMD's FinTech accelerated networking platform.
This is an exciting role in the AMD Datacentre Group, based in the Cambridge, UK office. You will be part of a key engineering team developing market-leading, high-performance software that combines low-level networking software with hardware datapath optimization.
JOB DETAILS

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will develop open-source system software for networking acceleration on Linux. Your work will give you a deep understanding of the networking stack, from FinTech users’ applications through the middleware and kernel drivers you develop, to the firmware and hardware of the network interface cards.
In this role, you will gain experience working with different teams within the Cambridge office and across AMD sites worldwide. For example, you will work with firmware and other driver teams to refine interfaces. Working with system test and customer support teams, you will learn what it takes to deliver tested releases of flagship software into production environments.
To be successful, you will have the ability to quickly understand software and hardware. You will be able to tackle engineering problems and demonstrate strong software design skills.
