About the Role Paramount Pictures is seeking a seasoned and strategic executive to serve as Senior Vice President, Business Affairs for its Theatrical Motion Picture Group. This leadership role will be responsible for overseeing business affairs matters across Paramount's theatrical film slate, leading complex negotiations, and partnering with senior studio leadership to support the development, production, and distribution of feature films. What You'll Do
- Lead business affairs strategy and negotiations across projects, deals, and productions for Paramount's theatrical motion picture slate.
- Structure, negotiate, and administer complex agreements involving actors, writers, producers, directors, production companies, financiers, and rights holders.
- Negotiate and oversee high-value talent transactions, including term deals, first-look agreements, overall deals, rights acquisitions, and multi-picture commitments.
- Partner closely with Creative, Production, Legal Affairs, Finance, Labor Relations, Distribution, and senior Motion Picture Group leadership to support studio and project objectives. What We're Looking For
- Seasoned and strategic executive with experience overseeing business affairs for theatrical motion pictures.
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and structure/execute high-value agreements with talent, producers, and rights holders.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering with Creative, Production, Legal, Finance, Labor Relations, and Distribution teams.
- Track record of supporting development, production, and distribution of feature films.
