A full-time Sustainability Manager position at Seven-Up Bottling Company in Lagos. This role leads corporate sustainability and ESG initiatives, focusing on climate finance, reporting, and regulatory compliance, while driving environmental management practices and stakeholder engagement across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the company’s sustainability and ESG programs, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee climate finance activities, reporting standards, and compliance with Nigerian and global regulatory frameworks.
- Implement and maintain Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) across relevant operations.
- Manage project portfolios related to sustainability initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to advance sustainability goals, communicate progress, and secure buy-in.
- Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to produce clear infographics and reports using Microsoft tools.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. An advanced sustainability-related qualification is an added advantage.
- 6–9 years of experience in corporate sustainability and ESG leadership.
- Strong knowledge of climate finance, reporting standards, and Nigerian/global regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) implementation.
- Proven track record in project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools for data analysis, infographics, and visualization.
