About the Role Valley Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist II (CST) to support the operating room team before, during, and after procedures while maintaining sterile technique and ensuring equipment readiness. This on-site, full-time role focuses on safe, high-quality perioperative care and patient safety in a fast-paced operating room. What You'll Do
- Scrub and assist during surgical procedures in the operating room
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instruments, and surgical equipment
- Anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control standards
- Prepare appropriate instruments and supplies based on surgical procedures
- Assist with patient preparation and perioperative support
- Maintain and monitor surgical equipment and report any issues
- Complete required documentation, logs, and quality reports
- Support patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the surgical process
- Participate in quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of acute care surgical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of OR procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification (CST)
- AHA BLS certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills Nice to Have

- Salary: $34-$45 per hour (USD)
- Schedule: Full-time, Days shift
- Location: Valley Presbyterian Hospital, onsite
