Job title: Surgical Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant
About the Role
The Surgical Advanced Practice Registered Nurse/Physician Assistant provides specialty care, and chronic and acute care health care services to patients throughout the lifespan. Functions in a specialty practice of the Concord Hospital Medical Group (CHMG) settings including office, community outreach, and inpatient. Patient care is provided in collaboration with a CHMG physician.
What You'll Do
- Obtain patient health history and perform physical examination.
- Diagnose acute and chronic medical problems within the scope of practice.
- Provide specialty care, acute and chronic management and patient education according to practice standards.
- Develop expertise and practice standards specific to specialty program.
- Prescribe and manage medications within the practice standards.
- Meet productivity standard of the practice/department.
- Document care provided in the medical record according to practice/department standards.
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Five to six years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Masters Degree or five year program).
- Licensure: NH license as APRN or PA, and current DEA license.
- Experience: Prior specialty and/or site-specific experience may be required based on the practice setting. New graduates may be considered.
- Physical and technical proficiency to perform essential responsibilities (inferred from job duties).
