Job title: Support Operator
Grammer is seeking a dedicated Support Operator to join our Delphos, OH location for a seasonal assignment. This role supports assembly line and injection molding operations, contributing to the production of high-quality automotive interior components and seats for off-road vehicles, trucks, buses and trains. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment and help drive improvements on the shop floor.
What You'll Do
- Operate an assembly line or injection mold press to produce quality parts per operator instructions.
- Forklift operation; handle racks, banding of parts, stacking and boxing of components; stock parts to the line and inspect parts to meet customer quality standards.
- Assist with mold changes, inventory checks, and part setup for press(es); monitor component and end-item inventory; print rack labels and complete relevant paperwork (forklift checklist, lot traceability, mold change/checklist).
- Maintain production speed and cleanliness; move equipment as needed; assist with process changes and partial component labeling where required.
- Follow work instructions and record production and scrap counts; notify supervisor of concerns (low/high inventory, no parts, etc.).
- Perform other supervisor-directed tasks including cleaning, rework, and packaging as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week and 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
- Full range of motion (bend, squat, reach); ability to step on/off platforms; lift/carry/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
- Detail oriented with a willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
