About the Role
Support Engineering at Canonical comprises technology experts and support operators across a vast portfolio of open source projects. We support, test, fix and operate the Ubuntu OS and infrastructure such as Kubernetes, LXD, OpenStack, MAAS, and a growing portfolio of open source applications. We believe in customer-centricity, working with the community and enabling smart operations through code. This globally distributed, remote-friendly team delivers the expertise our customers need to solve challenging problems while respecting work-life balance.
What You'll Do
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, including regular check-ins, hosting customer events, and performing service reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure customer issues are addressed promptly and that support requirements are considered during product development.
- Improve the quality of support documentation and resources by updating existing documentation, creating knowledge base articles, and developing tutorials and training materials.
- Help customers by solving complex problems and operating or building software, contributing to a challenging and growth-focused environment.
