About the Role The role manages suppliers portfolios (internal and external) to ensure goods are delivered on time, in the right quantity and to the right place to support Alstom projects. You will express delivery needs to suppliers, monitor performance, drive improvement actions, and contribute to risk management. You will collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP system and ensure material planning and ERP settings align with project objectives. What You'll Do
- Express delivery needs to Suppliers using dedicated tools.
- Follow up deliveries and ensure the availability of goods for Alstom projects.
- Monitor supplier performance KPIs and participate/lead performance improvement initiatives.
- Contribute with Supply Chain inputs for supplier selection and align material planning with project objectives.
- Manage internal suppliers: Purchase Requisition until Material Planning documents creation; update material planning master data.
- Manage external suppliers: coordinate with Procurement to launch Material Planning documents.
- Create Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) and related Source List and Quota Management; communicate documents to suppliers and obtain confirmations.
- Analyze supplier confirmations vs Alstom needs; assess risk/impact and define recovery actions; organize regular reviews with suppliers.
- Analyze and manage MRP exception messages; anticipate supply problems (backlogs, shortages, etc.); maintain delivery dates in ERP; track missing parts until stock is available.
- Address non-conformities through NCR; resolve Goods Receipts issues.
- Analyze and share deliveries performance KPIs with stakeholders; collaborate with Material Planning Mgmt/SDPM to identify worst suppliers and define action plans.
- Contribute to Supplier Capacity Assessment and Light Capability Assessment when involved; support new business risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Apply APSYS (Alstom Production System) roadmap and Golden Rules; respect EHS policy and Ethics & Compliance codes. What We're Looking For
- Higher Education in Business Administration or Engineering or Supply Chain.
- Local language plus English.
- Experience with ERPs, supply chain concepts, processes, continuous improvement; SAP experience.
- Strong skills in materials planning, inventory management, industrial scheduling, data analytics, procurement basics, project management, collaboration, and agility.
- Willingness to work in the northern area of Israel.
